Here you go.

Sorry to disappoint all 21 of you (or 12 or 15 depending on who you ask) that visited yesterday hoping for the new Wednesday picture. Here's one just for Nicole.

That's the roasting meat at Plaza Hof Brau. Yes, roasted by light. It's a beautiful thing. Nicole's fiance and I took Nathan here last week. Oh, you asked for a picture "of Nathan". We'll have to get back to you.

heat lamps...c'mon! I think we define good food differently.

I'm scared of that chicken. It's chicken, right?

That on the left there is a turkey. You are vastly underestimating the scale here. On the right is a gigantic beef roast. Pretty sure it's prime rib.

Here's a close up of that rib roast.

Gah! The roast beast is in chains!

I just love how the copper and heat lamps all glow orange, just like the 70's decor....if I remember right...

don't knock it 'til you've tried it!

Wow, 8 comments — I should post pictures of food more often!

Although I know that rib roast is SUPPOSED to look scrumptious, it just looks like the making of a bad motion picture...

Has it gotten better since the time we went there with Stephan? The place could use some sprucing up...especially their salad bar.

Well, Mike—can I call you Mike?—this is a place for MEN. And the last thing that MEN care about is salad. It's all about the meat!

Sure, I agree that men are all about meat...but MEAT IN CHAINS?

How does roasting by light make a meal delicious? I thought heat lamps are a NO-NO.

And finally, will you be thinking twice about beef consumption in light of the recent news?

We will go to Hof Brau when I get a job in Sac. I am forgiving and will give it another chance.
